Helping Vidar and Cathrine Ligard train leaders and transform people in East Africa.
As if the story of a young Norwegian couple going to minister to people in Kenya isn’t exciting enough, the ministry of Safari Mission has exploded over the last 20 years. Now spanning multiple nations in East Africa, it has changed thousands of lives through the training of ministers through RHEMA Bible Training Colleges that then go out and change their world.
Vidar and Cathrine have exceptional leadership skills and are purposeful in their media work. We are honored to have been a partner with them through the years in providing various brand and design work for them.
The very unique name of the ministry offered a great opportunity to design a creative logo that plays on the concept of a “wild adventure” combined with clean business lines. A simple and widely used sans-serif font was paired with 3 stripes colored in the Kenya National colors to reflect the ministries’ headquarters. The logo offers extension opportunity to help brand multiple divisions of the ministry (e.g.: Safari Distribution, etc.) with the word underneath “Safari” changing based on the application. The brand colors offer plenty of application opportunities and the concept has been proven to be a valuable tool to the Ligards in furthering the vision and mission God gave them for East Africa.
Event Specific Branding
A couple of years ago, Safari Missions started an annual “East Africa Faith Conference” to bring surrounding nations together under one roof to further the ministry and spend time in God’s word and worship.
For this event a new brand had to be developed. The colors stayed in line with the host organizations’ colors and the faith shield was included due to the name and the RHEMA Organization Safari Mission is an active part of.
The combination of the shield and the eastern part of the African continent offered a perfect Design opportunity we couldn’t pass up. An added embellishment on the “E” in East Africa reflects on the host nation of Kenya.
Safari Mission goes through great lengths to keep an open and transparent communication with its partners and friends across the globe. One of the ways to present the work done and offer more opportunities to get involved is through an annual report.
Designed in a creative landscape orientation it stands out both in size as well as with it’s clean look.
The annual report has been well received and has given the Ligards a great tool to keep current partners informed and excite potential future donors about the work they are doing in East Africa.
We, for one, are fans of them and their work and are proud to support them.
